We build editorial software the way newsrooms wish someone would.
Journalify is built by a team that has worked inside newsrooms — and built the editorial tools the rest of the industry has been settling for.
Why we exist
Newsrooms run on too many disconnected tools — a CMS from 2005, a DAM licensed at $50,000/year, a workflow tool nobody likes, an analytics platform with no editorial context, and a paywall stitched in from a third vendor. Editors spend more time on tooling than on stories.
We built Journalify to change that. One platform. Twelve capabilities. Cloud-native. Mobile-first. AI-native. Built in 2025, not retrofitted from a 2005 codebase.
Our values
- Respect for the craft. Journalists do hard, important work. Our software gets out of the way.
- Show, don't shout. We compete on quality, not noise. No marketing fluff in the product; no exclamation points in the headlines.
- Speed is a feature. Time-to-publish is the metric editors actually care about. Everything we build is measured against it.
- Built for every language. Right-to-left scripts, bidirectional text, and non-Latin typography are baselines, not afterthoughts — your readers' language should never be a feature request.
The team
We're a small, focused team. Our combined background spans 15+ years in cloud infrastructure, mobile applications, and editorial software for some of the world's largest media organisations.
We're hiring journalists-turned-engineers, designers who care about typography, and customer success people who've worked in newsrooms. If that's you, please reach out.
Where we go from here
Public launch: Q2 2026. First 10 customers: by end of 2026. Goal: 100 paying newsrooms by end of 2027. Ten years from now, we want to be the default choice for any modern newsroom that doesn't want to build its own platform.
