Can I change plans mid-cycle?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. Plan changes never trigger data loss.
What's included in the 14-day free trial?
Full access to every feature in the Starter or Professional plan. No credit card required to start. We send a reminder 3 days before your trial ends.
Do you offer discounts for non-profits, education, or local newsrooms?
Yes — qualifying non-profit newsrooms, journalism schools, and local newsrooms in MENA receive 30% off Professional. Contact sales with your registration details.
How does billing work?
Stripe handles all payments. Pay monthly or annually (annual saves ~17%). Invoices are sent automatically and downloadable as PDF from your account.
What happens if my payment fails?
Your account stays fully active for 7 days while we retry. After 7 days you switch to read-only access. After 30 days the subscription is cancelled but data is retained for 90 days for reactivation.
Can I export my data if I leave?
Always. Full exports of articles, media, users, and audit logs in standard formats (JSON + ZIP). No exit fees, no data hostage.
Is there an annual contract?
Annual billing is a discount, not a lock-in. You can cancel anytime; we refund the unused portion proportionally.
How long does implementation take?
Typical go-live is 30–60 days for a Professional newsroom (vs 90–365 days for legacy competitors). Our migration tools handle WordPress, Drupal, and bulk CSV imports automatically.
